At The Wildflowers Nature Nursery, we are dedicated to fostering a rich and enabling indoor learning environment that seamlessly extends to the stunning outdoor grounds at Pury Hill Business Park.
By blending nature-based experiences with an inspiring outdoor provision, we aim to spark natural curiosity and ignite a lifelong love for learning. Our approach is rooted in the belief that open-ended resources and access to the outdoors foster creativity, exploration, and a deeper connection to the world around us.
We believe that time spent outdoors is essential for every child’s growth, wellbeing, and love of learning. Our programs are designed to immerse children in natural environments every day, where they can explore, create, and connect with the world around them. From sensory experiences for our youngest Discoverers to adventurous exploration for our oldest Adventurers, the outdoors is at the heart of everything we do—nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for nature.
Discoverers (6 months – 18 months)
Our Discoverers enjoy a calm, nurturing space where they feel safe and supported, both indoors and outdoors. Babies are gently introduced to the natural world through sensory-rich outdoor experiences, fresh air, and time observing nature at their own pace. Songs, stories, tummy time, and exploratory play help build early curiosity, strong attachments, and a sense of wellbeing.
Explorers (18 months – 24 months)
The Explorers room embraces toddlers’ natural desire to move, climb, and discover. Children spend extended time outdoors each day, exploring natural materials, uneven surfaces, and open-ended play spaces that support physical development and confidence. Through outdoor play, nature walks, and hands-on experiences, children develop language, independence, and a growing understanding of the world around them.
Adventurers (2 years – 4 years)
Our Adventurers thrive in a rich, nature-based learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of the outdoors. Children engage in extended outdoor play, imaginative experiences, gardening, and exploration of the natural environment. Educators support child-led learning, helping children build resilience, problem-solving skills, and strong social connections as confident, capable learners.
